This week we welcome Reverend Randy Banks, and
Mary McGoldrick as our music director

I Corinthians 15: 1-8; 12-22; 35-38; 42-43; 54-57
Message: Christus Surrexi
Our service will be followed by coffee hour and lunch. Because of the planned hydro outage it will be a cold lunch of sandwiches, veggie and fruit trays plus some sweets and cold drinks for the congregation. Plan to stay for the Alzheimer Speaker after lunch - see below.
Jeanette Sears, the Public Education Coordinator of the Alzheimer Society of Huron Perth will be speaking at St. Andrew's UC on Sunday, May 4th at 1:30 PM on the topic of Dementia and Brain Health.
All are welcome!
Donations to the Alzheimer Society graciously accepted.

We need your help, Bayfield!
We are thrilled to announce that the Municipality of Bluewater has offered us a new space within the Village for our Food Bank! This new home will allow us to better serve our clients, but it requires significant construction work before we can open our doors for monthly shopping.
For the first time ever, we will need to pay for heat, hydro, snow removal and rent. We have a long term fundraising plan in place to cover off those costs on a yearly basis. We’re currently fundraising for renos but we feel like were having to climb up a very steep hill in a very short period of time.
We have some money for capital expenditures in reserve and some folks have already been donating to our building fund, but we’re going to need a whole lot more! We’re asking our community, both local and distant, to help us out.
Would you be willing to make a one-time donation to our building and renovation fund to help us make ready our new home?
If so, please click on the link below to make a donation to our building fund. All donations over $25.00 will receive a tax receipt.
Be part of Feeding the Future and ensuring that our community members who experience food insecurity will always have a safe and welcoming Food Bank.

100 Words of Hope
Feeling anxious about our world right now? So are we. But we know there is hope.
We've invited United Church leaders to share "100 Words of Hope" that speak to these moments of high anxiety, and that lean into deep spirituality. We also invite YOU to share your own 100-word reflection, poem, or prayer on hope and faith in these times. Submit your reflection or prayer using this
form.
Together, we can lift each other up in faith, hope, and love.
We are not alone. We live in God’s world.
